This class will be a mix of screenprinting and sewing.
I’ll bring ready-made screens to print on fabric.
The screens will have different textures. This will give people a hands-on printing experience!
We won’t be learning the whole screenprinting process, just the fun part: printing!
Once everybody is happy with their fabrics, we will start sewing. Bring your sewing machine if you’ve got one, we will have a few available to share in class.
We’ll be creating a pillow case from scratch, using molds to cut the fabric. Once the pillow case is finished, I’ll provide each student with a pillow insert 18 x 18 in.
